While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book
List ? |
I find the NGF-S a real pleasure to use. I use it for focussing my 8" Lx200
when doing CCD and double star work. After a rough focus with the stock
focus knob, I use the NGF-S for the final 'precise' focus. The motion is
smooth and steady, moving my ST-7, CW8, and associated cables and hoses with
no noticable strain. It is also very repeatable with the DRO option. The
motor is speed adjustable via the hand controller and adds no noticeable
virbation to the view. It is very nice not having my hand on the scope
adding all kinds of vibration when doing those little tweaks at higher
power.
