Hi Chris:
After receiving many replys saying that the NGF-S works so well and produces
no image jitters while focusing I gave in and returned the manual SE for
credit and ordered the motorized S which should come today or tomorrow.
As to balance maybe the S model is heavier or maybe you have other stuff on
your scope. I do not use the finder scope so I do have less weight at the
back because of that.
In fact Im putting up a separate post about the finder scope.

Bill, I have the NGf-S motorized unit and love it , no jitters at all, and

sounds like I have the same setup that you have , eyepiece and all but
mine
is a little back heavy and has a counter weight setup.
