Well actually it isn't that hard. Any bearing outlet will have details on
these Torrington (and other) bearings. Took the man one minute behind the
counter to find the bearing I needed. As for 'special washer', I used the
thrust washer that matches the bearing (as per M. Hart's original specs.)
and the original plastic washers to fill the recess in the focus knob. Works
beautifully.

Having said that, a kit that includes all of the parts PLUS detailed
instructions would certainly suit the faint hearted. BUT, don't be fooled -
these are off the shelf bearings (literally) which cost only a few dollars.
