While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

This whole Meade vs. Celestron issue seems to mirror the
PC vs. MAC issue in the computer world.

1. - There are far more Meade & PC's then Celestrons & MAC's on the
market.

2. - There is far more software for the Meade than the Celestron, there
is far
more software for the PC than the MAC.

3. - The Meade is a fine instrument, the Celestron is a fine instrument,
the PC
is a fine computer, the MAC is a great computer.

4. - I own the Meade LX200 10" f/10 and love it.

I own and love the PC because I am willing to put up with the PC's
difficulties
for the convenience of software availability.

Just an observation.
