While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I'm making a set of mounting blocks this morning for an aluminum rail that
will attach to the top of my 10" LX-200. The scope is 40 miles away at my
observatory. If someone could quickly tell me the radius of the rear of the
scope I'd be eternally greatful. Or simply measure the diameter of the
portion of the rear where the accessory screws would mount i.e. camera
bracket, etc. I know the diameter is a bit more than 10" but I'm not sure
how much and want to cut these radius blocks accurately.

Many thanks in advance,

Hap Griffin
