While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I seem to remember someone posting something awhile back about using a sheet
of teflon between the wedge and tripod, but I can't find the posting. Does
anyone know where I can get something to act as a washer between the wedge
and tripod? I'm wedge aligning and getting the target close to the center
of the illuminated reticle eyepiece and just one more twist on the adjuster
and the wedge sort of "pops" way over the center target. Slowly move it
back, it gets to a certain point and again, "pops". Any way to make this
smoother? I've loosened the wedge - scary, when you think about an LX200
falling. Not sure I want to apply a layer of grease here. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
