While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I've got images of the Teflon mod I made on my web site:

down the page)

It's for the standard wedge and tripod of my 8", but the theory works well
for the larger scopes and Superwedge also. As one other poster pointed out,
it makes the motion in any one direction much smoother, with no jumps or
chattering, but does not help the 'lack of motion' when changing directions
of az adjustment. That problem is in the azimuth adjuster itself, and is
not really a problem with the standard wedge, but can be quite an issue with
the Superwedge...
