While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

FWIW, Ken made me a bottom plate for my pier. My pier is a steel pipe,
which had a flat top, with four bolt holes. I sent it to Ken, and he made
an appropriate plate to mate to it. It works great.
