I'm not an electronics expert, but I made sure the kind of fuse that I use is
not slow blow. If something is not right in the circuit, I want the fuse to
blow PDQ. Electronics and fuses don't get along very well. You probably want a
non time delay, current limiting fuse. But I bet the consumer variety just
won't cut it.
I would go with a 1 amp fuse. And that fuse behind the power panel is just too
big as well as being the wrong type - slow blow. Replace it with a 1 amp non
time delay fuse.
