I am fairly well along with a program that does just that. It'll be
released in the next several weeks.

In addition to controlling the LX-200 from your Mac, it has a pretty
sophisticated database search feature, common-name search,
user-defined objects, observing lists, an observing log, and I'm
currently working on adding orbiting objects like comets and
asteroids. The program will control everything that can be controlled
via software on your LX-200.

It's current in beta, and will probably be released sometime in
August. E-mail me privately if you require more info.

Clear Skies!
