Bill Arnett's favorite astro software is Starry Night. It does most of the
things of interest including LX200 control and includes the Hubble Guide
Star catalog on CD. But its best feature is the stellar quality of the
charts it displays. They almost look like photographs. After using SN it
is hard to put up with the others. And it is available for both Mac and
that other kind of PC. You can download an evaluation version a few clicks
from the URL above.
