Hi all.

I don't want to stir up a ruckus here, but has anyone noticed improvement
with Meade products so far this year?
I tried out an older model Starfinder Dob at my local astro society a while
back, and was a little dissapointed. Tonight I tried out my brand new '98
Starfinder export-model with 2" focuser, standard series 3000 25mm Plössl,
etc., and found the images stunning. Tack sharp images across the board.
The scope had cooled down in less than 15 minutes, thanks to the extra
ventilation holes.

Next stop: LX200, as soon as I locate the society's 16" and liberate it
from someone's backyard :-)
