Just what do you see that is different?
I tried one day swapping diagonals on my 12" LX200. I compared the Meade
prism diagonal that came with it, a Lumicon mirror diagonal and an
Astrophysics MaxBright (all 2"). I couldn't see any differences. OTOH, I
didn't have time to really study carefully; I made only two swaps on each
pair. But even so, if there are differences they must be pretty subtle. I
was all set to buy an AP MaxBright. I decided to save my money.
