While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

<I read your comments with interest. I presently own a Meade 2" diagonal,

Hi,
I had the opprotunity to directly compare a telvue 2" diagonal to a meade
2" diagonal. I was unable to tell any difference. The comparison was done
with the help of a friend who is a televue dealer. Both of us bought the
meade for personal use. There was no reason we could see other than "wank
factor" to pay over twice the price for the televue.

cheers
Gary
