As the originator of this thread, I certainly take no offense, and thank any
input looking for a solution. Not speaking for Chris, I can say that my
computer is properly accounting for Daylight Savings, and still shows three
hours difference from GMT when it should show four. From responses this last
week, it appears that at least three MAPUGers have been given incorrect
information from this website, and I am beginning to wonder if there is a
programming error at the site. I would leave it at that.......

.......except my other problem from the URL on Iridium passes was also off by
one hour, and I indeed set it up properly for FIVE hours difference, noting
that Daylight Savings would automatically be adjusted in to make my difference
FOUR hours. But as I said, all the satellites were an hour off. Peculiar.

I fear, however, that many are getting annoyed at this dance of a time(ly)
topic so far from the paths of our true Meade identity, so I recommend that
this thread go private if anyone gets any bright ideas. I, for one, am still
intrigued.

Jim, in the very cloudy (and five time zones from GMT) city of Pittsburgh
<grin>
