I finally managed to get the Pictorview auto-functions to work the other
night! (I should mention that I am using version 6.4 software). When I
tried the auto-focus routine, it actually operated the Meade focusing
motor and took images. When a message box came up saying the camera was
in focus, darned if it was actually focused!! I tried an auto-mosaic
routine of 2x2 frames, and lo and behold, it slewed the telescope
appropriately and took images! I must be dreaming, right?!
Now, if I only had a camera with a bigger chip and a faster-than-serial
interface...
