Steve... I am fascinated by your method as it approximates an LX200 trick
we had.
help me with your logic though... The second star, did you move to it
manually, or more likely,
by the NSEW keys? Why wouldn't the computer just "wipe out" all knowledge
of the first star
and replace it with the 2nd?? Why would the 2nd need to be done?? Have you
tried the above with
just one, and then polaris?
