While you're here, how about checking out the
Astronomy Book
List ? |
Too me, that is hypocritical. To KNOW that the product has defects and
still promote that people buy them. That sounds just like what Meade is
doing. Do you think that they accidentally made parts of the product cheap
and inferrior? I don't think so.
Searching my post, I did not find any reference to your statement "Then you
have a reason to not like Meade". I like the scope, and Meade. I just think,
like so many others on this list that have voiced their opinion on the
subject, that I did not get what I paid for and that Meade could have
delivered better quality, at least the level they claim in their literature.
It has been proven over and over on this list that we are not getting what
Meade says we should get. Do you condon that? Are you going to continue to
spend your hard earned money on products that aren't worth what you are
being made to pay, and recommend that others do likewise? You go ahead, I
think I'll pass.
Let's see, I think I'll spend 3000 dollars today on a product that I'll
have to send right back in to the manufacturer, and let them keep it for the
next 6 months to try and fix the problems it has after just being
manufactured. I'm so excited...I just can't wait! Now there's a no brainer.
