While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Steve, I have had very good luck using a mixture or sand and this
plastic glass used in some sand blasting work. For one, I learned on
here, that the sand collects moisture and the glass balls seem to stop
this? Although my mount is Aim Controls, and Meade guide scope and
camera's, the Aim is very picky, so they measured the sound through out,
and came out much better than I expected. There motor driver system is
much different than one usually sees. Also there are pads of a special
kind of rubber used on all motors and mountings. I'll try to get the
name of it. It really kills off most of the sound travel, and really
think it would work great with Meade, as I also tried it with Celestron
stuff as well. 73, Mike
