ScopeDriver (Mac-only) will be out in August. It does much of what
you are requesting. We're in the late stages of testing right now,

It sounds like you're using REALbasic. If so, keep in mind that
serial control is not supported for Carbon builds, and that the
Windows side is pretty well represented by some full-featured
programs (like Astronomers Control Panel).

ScopeDriver will also be shareware ($35). Please e-mail me off-list
it's out.
