Greetings all. Col, a member of this group from down under called me
earlier today and asked me to post this for him. He sadly got the Sircam
virus, and is waiting for the computer tech to come over to fix it. As
he has many of the members address in his e-mail address book, he is
worried that you may get the virus from him? I did get one from him,
although it was not him! If you accidentally open it, it will send out
your address book before messing up many files like .DLL, etc. Then the
person, or persons behind this re-send the virus using your e-mail
address. Thanks to the help of my IP I got ride of it and Norton has
done the rest. Col is real worried some of you may get mad at him but
its not his fault, as he's not that computer savvy. Remember the 2 part
attachment, on the second one, is a .pif file. That does the damage, the
first one when opened is a nice message as if it was a real friend
sending it, but from what Norton told me, that is where they read your
address book. Col is good people and really feels bad. Now as to Col, I
have his 2.9 meter dome on the way, and will be here in a few weeks, but
we are going to try another new deal he has, so I am going to sell it.
If interested contact me direct, or check my web site for the phone
number, and there is a photo of the dome, under dome & scopes. Mike, and
thank you.
