While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi guys,

This weekend I had a lot of problems doing some prime-focus imagaging on my
10" f6.3 LX200. The autoguider really messed things up and I got images
where stars looked sharp except there was a spike straight up. (N) Anyone
had this problem before and knows what is causing it ?
I'm also having another weird thing. When moving the scope east on center
speed it takes the images still moves a few secs before it stops although I
am not pressing any buttons. It always does that when just had moved west.
If the previous movement was east there is no problem. This does not occur
at guide speed ?

Thanks,

Maarten
