While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi everyone. I am about to complete my LX200
reassembly after my recent DEC bearing upgrade.
So far so good. Now, according to Mike's parts list at Docs site I should
use:

Low temperature grease such as Lubrimatic LMX (red color), Mobile One
synthetic (red color) or Super Lube synthetic (clear color)
for the bearing packing when I put together and,
Exxon Lidok CG Moly molybdenum disulfide anti-friction grease for the worm
gear and worm.

Anyone have a supplier for the worm gear and worm grease Mike notes above?
Anyone have other suggestions on what to use.
I mean, who should I be calling for specialty greases? I know I am not
calling the right places because
they tell me the standard "We have white lithium grease or regular ol' wheel
bearing grease".
McMaster Carr was a bust. Anyother online shops I can buy from?

BTW- For 2 bucks I bought the white lithium grease anyway..any thoughts on
this?
Heck if anything the kids toys will roll good <g>

TIA
Jeffrey Jarnot
