Hi Frank,
You have nothing to worry about on your end. All you need do is fill out a
declaration at your end and your job is complete.
Don't feel too bad about the buyer having to pay a hefty shipping
expense...depending on where the telescope is going, the new price for the
same scope there is probably twice as much as you paid for it.
