While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

OTOH, it never hurts to ask your dealer about any upcoming deals _before_ forking over the money. I bought my 8" LX200 early last year, just before the price reduction. Astronomics wrote the order at the new price, even though the reduction hadn't gone into effect yet.
