I agree, I am getting very tired of hearing about Meade ripping off people
and Meade bashing in general. Grow up! You still have the best value on
the market, I think that it is great that Meade is dropping their prices.
Now more people that couldn't afford to enter this hobby can. And as more
of them do, the prices are sure to drop, the competition will increase and
so will the quality. This is a good thing! For those who bought their
scopes as an investment or as a sculpture, find another hobby or buy a
Celestron, this is still the hardest working tool available for the amature.
Meade is not Darth Vader out to rip you off or devalue your investment, they
are a business. So why don't all of the "religious zealots" end their holy
war?
