At risk of opening a can of worms, I think you all are going to like my
next book (on computerized telescopes). It starts with a clear
explanation of how the sky moves (diurnal motion, etc.). The idea is
that if you know whats up there, the computerized telescope will save
you a lot of time finding it, but the telescope is not a substitute for
knowledge of the sky -- rather, it should help you acquire the
