I am glad to see that this seems to have worked, and the thread has
essentially stopped.
I was the one who first engaged on this thread when I called the author of
the original message to task for what I feel was an entirely inappropriate
attitude. Michael Covington posted a message which I, and others,
interpreted as supporting the original post, and he got slammed in the
process. Mr. Covington and I have exchanged a number of emails privately,
and he has convinced me that, unlike the original poster, he was only
intending to ask people to be a bit more careful with typing, and was not
intending to berate or belittle those whose grammar and/or syntax may be
less refined than that of others.
I accept this explanation, and wanted to post this message to let others
know.
