First, Patent is the only protection avaiable. Patents only apply to a
new, innovative concept. The wedge concept has been around for a long time.
Also there is the Milburn and Mettler wedges for commercial sale. You could
ask them if they ran into any problems.

Hi all

Im just about to produce a prototype wedge with the outlook of selling
them, but I would like to know if any of you guys know if meade has any kind
of copy right or patent on their s/wedge.
Dont fancy the idea of being slapped with a court summons.
If any body would like to have a spy at the engineering drawings and get a
feel for this baby contact me privately, also if anybody is interested in
placing an order if all goes well with the prototype I would be willing to
work out a price of getting about 10 units manufactured.

Regards

Darren
