While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Subject: LX200 unattained coordinate or object pointing

LX200 Users:

Is there a program or scripting language for Windows 95, 98, Linux, Unix or
Palm OS's available that would allow one to specify a list of objects or
coordinates and time, then have the LX200 slew to those as the specified
time. After the slew, the LX200 would stay at those coordinates for a
specified period of time before moving to the next coordinate or object. Of
course, all of this after a ALT/AZ or Polar 2 star alignment and an
appropriate "Star Sync" process to insure reasonable pointing accuracy of
the unattended LX200 operation.

Thank you,

Art
