While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi all,

I am in the process of building a permanent concrete pier for my LX200 but
need a hand with the design of the scope/pier interface. I won't have a
commercial wedge as the scope will not travel. However, I still obviously
need to method of attaching adjusting the alignment of the scope. I was
thinking of maybe a welded steel wedge set to my latitude with some form of
adjustment between it and the pier - I need some help on how to design the
necessary interface/adjustment please?

Paul
