While you're here, how about checking out the

Hi,
I have a 12" LX200. It has hex head (or something like it) screws around the
optical tube on both the corrector plate and the mirror cell end. I wish to
attach other equipment such as a guide scope, accessory bar, etc. to the
optical tube. There are two sizes of screws - large and small.
My question is which screw holes do I use to attach things to - the large
ones or the small ones?
I do not know which ones hold the corrector plate or mirror cell to the tube
and which are free to be used to attach other devices to. I have asked two
dealers here who say that if I look into the tube some screws will have a
nut on the end, and others will not. They said that the ones without the
nuts are the ones that I can attach things to since the ones with the nuts
hold the corrector plate or mirror cell in place. However, when I look at
the ends of the screws inside the tube none of them have nuts attached.
Does this mean that I can attach accessories to any screw hole? Or does this
it just mean that the people I asked do not really know?
Thanks in advance,
David Samuel
