Hello John M.
When I'm using the AC Power source to run my Classic LX200, I attach the =
25' DC Power Cord to it because it has a fuse in the line. And I have =
plenty of cord to wrap around the tripod when the Scope is slewing.=20

I'm going to a Star Party tonight and will be using model # 1218 DC =
Adapter, to plug from a battery to the telescope, Am I required to =
attach the 25' DC power Cord, to the 1218 DC Adapter , Or can I just use =
the DC adapter buy itself .=20

I don't need that much cord because I have a battery that's very close =
to the tripod, and I won't be using... say the car battery.

What do you think?
