While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

To the Scope:

Well I used the 25' power cord extension, and everything was AOK! Nothing
blew up, and It worked like It's suppose too thanks.

Other subject!
I saw in Orion's Manual where they are selling a 17 Amp-Hour Battery. They
say It's powerful enough for an all night session on a single charge to
operate large telescopes motor drive along with Dew heaters, I've got 4 plus
the controller, and any other accessories requiring up 2 Amps. It has a
cigarette lighter receptacle, a polypropylene housing, and It's battery is a
sealed lead acid design, and is maintenance free, plus has a 110-volt AC
charger.

They are asking $129 bucks. Is this considered a good price, or is there
another web site that has the same thing at a cheaper price, Or a different
battery that can do the same?...

Remember I will have to use the # 1218 DC adapter, if using any other
battery to run my Classic 8" LX200.
Thank-you Osca
