While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi All,
My 10" GPS has developed a fault. I only have AZ movement in one direction.
Checked motor board and a chip, 4947, is definitely ruptured.
I checked the motor readings against the DEC motor and they compare OK.
Can anybobody direct me to where I can get schematics, and also info on the
chip.
