While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Hi

I have just had the chance to use my new MX716 CCD the other night and first
results did not look very good. All the stars were elongated and it seemed
to bounce around. The tube was well balanced and I have good polar alignment
and it was not windy. However I have never trained the PEC, could this be
the problem.
The scope is a 10" LX200 (classic) and optical train was
scope->FR6.3->meade 2" flip mirror->CCD camera.
