Andy,
I agree that if you use two discs of teflon that the surface deformation
issue is not so important. But since Teflon costs 10-20 times more the
HDPE, and since a single disc of HDPE is necessary to perform the same
job, it seems a waste of money to use Teflon, unless you happen to have
a sheet lying around (care to share if you do?)
