Hi again Roger.
I am not sure about that: when the LX200 is tracking (Polar alignment)
with the Pictor 201 plugged, the AMP-METER (on the LX200 front panel)
shows _HALF_ the current than without the Pictor.
This is a clear sign that there is some unwanted current - hence no
relays, right?

They probably don't. :-)
If the Pictor has isolated outputs (internal opto couplers, or relays),
the
problem does not appear.
