Get the 12" Classic. No need for the GPS if putting in an observatory. Borrow a GPS from a friend and enter the Lat. and Long. one time and forget it. The larger aperture is better to have that the 10" GPS. You will not regret getting the 12" over the 10".

Hey Guys:
Need advice on which LX-200 to get for our new observatory. The 10-inch GPS, or a 12-inch Classic? Performance so different?
Thanks, Joy
