Hi all--

Decided to try something different with the list's homepage by using a
JavaScript to randomly select from a folder of images for the the
graphic in the upper left corner. Currently I have 8 images that I found
interesting. You can try this out by visiting:
<http://www.MAPUG.com/> and then click your Reload or Refresh button
several times to see the images change (hopefully). You must have
JavaScript enabled or you will just see a default background image of
Jupiter showing.

With some further thought, it might be interesting to feature Mapugger
images instead. If this sounds interesting to you, submit images (less
than _100K_, please, as I'm on a slow dial-up connection) to my personal
address: <stargazer(AT)skymtn.com> DO NOT send them to
Subject line like: Mapug Homepage Image, Mapug image submission, etc.

I will need to crop them to fit a square dimension and will add your
name, if you so desire, to the bottom of the image. Understand that
whether or not your image is used is purely an arbitrary decision by me!
And I may decide to discontinue this idea at any time. Sorry for the
disclaimer.
