Is that a wide field EP? "Just on the edge" of a mid-power EP is usable for
visual but marginal compared to what the scope should be capable of. Since
you already know the "rotate in RA" trick to confirm that you're really at
90° dec during the alignment proceedure, the next step, if you can't get it
much better by being more careful with the alignment, is to check the
squareness of the mount. I have a page on this at
