While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Mine are all 1/4-20, and I haven't seen a Losmandy mounting piece that ever
came with anything else.

The screws that hold the Losmandy curved mounting pieces to the OTA are
10-24.
1/4 - 20 is the size of a standard tripod screw.
Check Roger Hamlet's thread list. He has it right.
