While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

Length is dependant on what you want to go through. Normally about 1.25"
into the scope. The diameter is 0.5", and the thread is 13TPI. All bolts on
the Meade/Celestron scopes, are 'UNC'.
