While you're here, how about checking out the Astronomy Book List ?

I have a couple of focusing questions, and was hoping
someone here could help me out. I have an 8" F10 LX200
classic
scope.

The first is, how much can the mirror be moved using a 6mm
EP and still stay in focus? I'm not sure if different 6mm
eyepieces give different results, so here's a different way
of perhaps asking the same question: How much can the mirror
be moved and still be in focus at 333 power? I know that
there is a range +/- from the perfect point that is probably
dependant on the resolution of the scope, but I don't know
what that formula is.

The second question is, how far does the mirror move with
one complete turn of the focus knob? Is this movement per
turn the same for all LX200's?

Hope someone can help, or point me to a resource.

Keith
