I agree with Bill on this one. In addition to having a poor baffle system, I've also noticed that the standard paint used by Meade on the inside of the OTA has reflective properties. This is but another reason to flock the inside of the OTA.

Also, it's not necessary to remove the primary in order to successfully flock the OTA. I did it with a very thin sheet of ABS. Simply stick the flocking paper to the ABS. Once compketed, one simply needs to roll up the ABS into a cyllinder and insert it into the front of the OTA. The cyllinder will then uncoil and become perfectly fitted to the inside of the OTA.
