It's not just a matter of checking continuity. The 201 uses a funky cable.
An SBIG cable won't work, and even a phone cord that looks identical to the
201 cable won't work. The 201 cable has one of the 6 connections cut.
If you lay the cable flat, the locking tabs on the connectors will be up on
one end and down on the other (SBIG cable is different, I think it's
"straight through"). One of the wires is not connected at the end. Look
closely at the connector and you should see this. It's either #1 or #6 of
the 6, but I don't recall which. It's the one that is the +5V line. I
believe it's labelled that way in the documentation, but Meade's website
seems to be currently unavailable, so I can't check.
