John, you are correct - the NexImage is a HAD CCD. Now, can you tell me what HAD means? I can't seem to find a definition anywhere :(

Again, I think you're correct - I think I tried this. I have several barlow-type devices but they are all the TeleVue 2" variety, so I can use my 2" nosepiece from the SBIG camera.
Given the price of the NexImage (~ $99) I think it represents good VFM. I must get around to trying it our properly. I bought this thing on an impulse because it was a "ready to go" solution. I hope it was worth it ;-)
