A Celestron keypad will most likely work on the LX-200. I have
used an Ultima keypad on my LX-200 as well as plugging the 201 XT
directly into the Ultima mount (after careful measurements of currents
and polarities) for autoguiding. The Celestron Ultima 8 and 11 inch
keypad input is roughly equivalent to LX-200 CCD guider port except
the processor interprets pressing both the E & W or N & S keys
and speeds up the motors. Both use the same low current phone
plug and jack without wiring modification.
