I should say that when an engineering or application question arises
about a particular accessory or scope, my response is often based
on discussions directly with engineers involved in the design. This
provides the basis for my response, tempered with personal experience
and experimentation. One would expect a marketing type response from
a sales or marketing manager, so you can see the value of having good
rapport with design engineers.
In this case, my discussions were with the engineers. JMI engineers
have a position on this- it doesn't matter. No doubt marketing should
want the JMI logo prominently displayed. I would place the logo on
both sides if id doesn't matter, which is what prompted me to ask.
