What a quandry!! I am being asked so many questions I am afraid I will over post
again. I dont want the majordomo mad at me. But here goes anyway.

Almost all of the heat flux goes to the edges of the bottom plate and then into
the massive casting that makes up the base. I think this is more than adequate
heat sinking. A smaller amount of the heat flux goes down the large mounting
bolt. This is probably not significant.
